Due to an increase in workload our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Southern England.

Qualifications and skills
Our client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with 5 years’ experience and geotechnical design knowledge.

MSc Geotechnical Engineering/ MEng Civil Engineering

Experience in Rail – (PTS) qualification is desirable and would be an advantage

Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with experience of core geotechnical elements including:

Shallow and piled foundations, retaining walls, slopes and earthworks as well as ground investigations.

Software knowledge: FREW, SlopeW and ALP or similar.

Be able to demonstrate the ability to understand complex problems and to conceive innovative solutions.

Communicate effectively with clients

Have good report writing and presentation skills.

Management of projects from conception to completion

Be working towards chartership

Ensure designs are delivered on time

Inspection of construction works

Team player
