We have a fantastic opportunity for an Aquatic Ecologist to join one of the UK's well known Specialist Ecological Consultancies.

A position has developed within a Macclesfield office, and requires an experienced Ecologist with strong Aquatic/Invertebrate skills to assist with an expanding workload.

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must hold experience and qualities associated with the aquatic sector. This will include demonstrable experience working on aquatic invertebrate surveys, with an understanding of water quality in relation to invertebrates and a background knowledge of general aquatic ecology. Strong skillsets will be identified by the possession of relevant specie licenses (white-clawed crayfish, etc) and excellent report writing qualities.

It is essential that applicants have the ability to identify and analyse different aquatic species and interpret invertebrate datasets, in order to write high quality environmental, EIA and EcIA chapters and reports.

This position is a full-time, permanent post and offers an attractive salary package based on relevant experience.
